Nancy
Carlisle, National Renewable Energy Laboratory
Phone: 303 384-7509
E-mail: nancy_carlisle@nrel.gov
Ms. Carlisle is the Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) Group
Manager at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden,
Colorado, and a licensed Architect in the state of Colorado. At
NREL, she led the development of a 25-year Master Site Plan for
both of NREL's campuses. The plan provides a framework to develop
NREL's campuses in a sustainable way. She has been a core member
of the Labs21 technical program since its inception. She has worked
at NREL over 25 years, in research, analysis, design, and outreach
activities that promote the design of sustainable, low-energy buildings.
She is a LEED® accredited professional and recognized
as a Fellow in the American Solar Energy Society. She holds a Masters
degree in architecture and planning from the University of Arizona and a Bachelors degree
in economics with a concentration in environmental studies from Colorado
State University.
Will
Lintner, U.S. Department of Energy
Phone: 202 586-3120
E-mail: william.lintner@ee.doe.gov
Mr. Lintner is the Department of Energy's project manager for the
Laboratories for the 21st Century Program. He has been the project
manager since the inception of Labs21. With EPA's managers, he has
guided Labs21 through a period of rapid growth to become an exemplary
model of pubic/private sector cooperation and the premier organization
dedicated to applying sustainable principles to laboratories.
Mr. Lintner has championed sustainable best practices, primarily
energy
efficiency, for over 25 years, first with the Department of the
Navy and more recently with DOE. In 2000, he was recognized for
his contributions to reducing the DOE's operating costs by over
$100 million per year through investments in energy efficiency retrofit
projects. More recently, he has lead initiatives to spur facility
managers to adopt best practices in their operations. Through these
efforts, sustainable design and re-commissioning of buildings have
become standard practices and the DOE has come to lead the federal
government in the number of buildings that are LEED certified and
the number of laboratories registered to be certified. Mr. Lintner
is a Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He is
a graduate of George Washington University and George Mason University.
Paul
Mathew, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory

He has a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, and a Ph.D. in Building
Performance and Diagnostics from Carnegie Mellon University. His
area of expertise is energy efficiency and environmental sustainability,
and his experience includes technical consulting, tool development,
training and financial risk management. Prior to joining LBNL, he
worked for Enron Energy Services and the Center for Building Performance
at Carnegie Mellon University.
Dale
Sartor, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory
Phone: 510 486-5988
