Call for Presenters
The Labs21 2008 Call for Presenters is now closed. Thank you all for your submissions!
Selected Presenters will be notified by May 9, 2008.
Selection Criteria
A committee of laboratory and energy efficiency experts will review
all abstract submissions. Entries will be judged on the quality
and merit of their technical value, the clarity of their brief composition,
and their relevance to the Labs21 community. Special attention will
be given to abstracts that focus on lessons learned and metrics
and that are related to the Preferred Topics.
Abstracts that focus singularly on the promotion of specific products
or technologies will not be accepted. Individuals and organizations interested in presenting their products
and services to conference attendees are encouraged to exhibit at
the Labs21 2008 Annual Conference Technology and Services Fair.
Incomplete submissions will not be considered. Any materials submitted
will not be returned.
Please note that if you are selected to present, you are required
to attend the conference during your presentation time. If for some
reason you are unavailable to attend, you must notify Labs21 by
August 15, 2008, and provide a suitable replacement presenter
in a timely fashion. If you do not notify Labs21 and provide a replacement
speaker by this deadline, Labs21 will not be able to consider you
as a speaker for the 2009 conference.

Abstract Publication Opportunity
Labs21 co-sponsor, I2SL, is once again working with
R&D Magazine to publish selected abstracts from the Labs21
Annual Conference. Your
submitted abstract will automatically be considered for inclusion in the R&D
Magazine 2009 Laboratory Design Handbook. Additionally, if
your abstract is one of the 20 selected for the handbook, you will
be given the opportunity to write a full paper on your project,
to be published on I2SL's Web site.
