Laboratory Operations and Maintenance Workshop: Small Steps, Big Results

Improving operations and maintenance has become one of the most cost-effective methods for ensuring reliability, safety, and energy efficiency in facilities. Laboratory professionals involved with facility maintenance, engineering, and employee health and safety attended this half-day workshop and learned the true relationship between how systems are operated and maintained and the overall safety and energy efficiency of a laboratory facility. Participants also gained a better understanding of the "big picture" implications of their own actions, from fume hoods to building HVAC systems.
