in San Jose, California!
With nearly 800 attendees and more than 65 exhibitors, and with
representatives from more than 15 countries, this event was by far
and away the biggest and best yet!

- At this year's conference, Labs21 signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Public Works and Government Services of Canada (PWGSC). The document solidifies PWGSC's commitment to sustainable solutions and energy efficient choices for laboratories wherever possible.
- In addition to the full agenda conference attendees participated in several open discussions to provide input and create dialogue on a variety of subjects.

Go Beyond Award Winners
New to this year's conference were I2SL's
Go Beyond Awards,
which honored individuals, projects, or organizations that excel
in their efforts to become more sustainable and "go beyond"
requirements to achieve energy-efficiency. The awards were presented
during the Labs21 luncheon on Thursday, September 18.
Greening the Conference
Labs21 is taking steps to "green the
conference." Learn more about Labs21's efforts to make
this year's event as sustainable as possible.
Labs21 Extended Abstracts
Selected abstracts from the Labs21
2007 Annual Conference have been extended and featured in the
November 2007 issue of R&D Magazine's Laboratory Design
Handbook. Of these extended abstracts, several were expanded upon
even further and these papers have been added to I2SL's
