Each year, Labs21 hosts a conference that allows laboratory professionals
to meet and discuss the next generation of laboratories.
The Labs21 2008 Annual Conference took place on September 16-18
in San Jose, California. The conference included presentations on
designing, building, and operating low-energy, resource-efficient
laboratory buildings, and for the first time included a special
track of sessions dedicated to data centers. Featured speakers included
prominent members of the public and private sector laboratory communities,
