Automotive Testing Laboratories Working Group

The Automotive Testing Laboratories Working Group is focused on improving the energy and environmental performance of automotive testing laboratories.

In January 2003, Labs21 kicked off the Automotive Testing Laboratories Working Group. The group is working to bring together interested industry representatives to identify key challenges to the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of automotive testing laboratories; and to discuss solutions based on current and future industry best practice.

Activities

• The working group hosted a breakfast meeting on October 22, 2003, in conjunction with the Labs21 2003 Annual Conference, titled Fuel Cells in Laboratory Applications: Clean Power and a Hydrogen Fueling Station, Too.

• On September 26, 2003, the Labs21 Automotive Testing Laboratories Industry Working Group hosted a Labs21 phone forum, titled "Saving Your Retrofit Dollars: How to modify your facility for safe hydrogen fuel cell vehicle testing."
