This year, Labs21 acquired 70,000 kWh renewable energy credits (RECs) from the Champion Wind Farm in Nolan County, Texas, supplied by Element Markets. That brings the conference's eight-year total to 436,000 kWh—equivalent to the carbon dioxide emissions from more than 35,000 gallons of gasoline consumed!
