Denver, Colorado
April 21

Course Location:
U.S. EPA Region 8 Office
1595 Wynkoop Street
Denver, CO 80202

About our Hosts:
EPA's Region 8 Office
covers the mountain states of Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. In January 2007, the Region 8 Office relocated to a new facility in Denver leased by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) for EPA. In September 2007, the facility received the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Gold-level certification. The facility, a product of more than three years of planning, design, and construction, serves as a hallmark of environmental sustainability in a prominent Lower Downtown Historic District location.

The International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories (I2SL)Exit is devoted to the principles of sustainable laboratories—from design to engineering to practice. Through worldwide partnerships and the exchange of technical information, I2SL will help produce high performance facilities that address the rapid pace of science, medicine, research, and development in an ever-changing and dynamic world. The non-profit organization is the official co-sponsor for the Labs21 2008 Annual Conference and workshop program.
